How a medical consultation session is conducted

Depending on each patient's medical need, The Care Hub will send a doctor to the patient's home who specialises in the type of condition the patient has. The Care Hub's partner doctors are specialists or primary care physicians with extensive experience in their field.

The medical consultation includes the following steps:

- A few questions about the history of your condition - What is the reason for requesting a medical consultation? What happened? How long have you had these symptoms? Under what circumstances did you feel this condition developed? How does it manifest itself? etc.
- Your medical history - What other illnesses do you have? What is your lifestyle? What medication do you take? etc.
- Objective examination (depending on the condition) - the doctor consults you by inspection, palpation, listening, e.g. looking at a lump to determine its characteristics (location, size, colour, etc.); listening to your lungs and heart with a stethoscope; checking your reflexes, etc.
- Measurement of various parameters - blood pressure, pulse, blood saturation, temperature, respiratory rate.
- Diagnosis based on the consultation. The doctor may also recommend further investigations (CT scan, X-ray, EKG, etc.) or additional medical consultation from another specialist, medication, etc.
- In the event of a medical emergency, the doctor who comes to see you may refer you to the emergency department (your local emergency department).

What is the price of a medical consultation at home?

The price of a general medical consultation is 300 lei and a specialist medical consultation is 350 lei.

The general medical consultation includes:
- Discussion between you and your doctor about your current health condition, medical history, etc.
- General objective examination,
- Measurement of various physiological parameters (pulse, blood pressure, saturation)
- Establishing a diagnosis
- Treatment recommendation or other helpful investigations.

Specialist medical consultation includes:
- Discussion between you and the doctor about your current state of health, your medical history, etc.
- General objective examination,
- Consultation specific to your pathology (e.g. surgery, neurology, etc.)
- Measurement of various physiological parameters (pulse, blood pressure, saturation)
- Establishing a diagnosis
- Treatment recommendation or other helpful investigations.

How to request a medical consultation at home

Who comes to your home to conduct the medical consultation?

The Care Hub partners who will come to your or your loved one's home are certified and experienced psychologists who we would welcome into your home.
Because the safety of you and your loved ones is paramount, we interview each psychologist (2 of our colleagues attend the interview), ask for and verify medical clearance, behavioral integrity certificate, licensure, and (if needed) references.

How many medical consultation sessions are needed?

The medical consultation offered by The Care Hub team of doctors is personalised to the individual and the situation, so the number of sessions may vary. For some patients a single consultation is sufficient, while for others a follow-up is required.
