Meal prep - What services are included?

For your loved one to enjoy healthy eating, our partners will:

They help the person with meal preparation and will do the heavy lifting for them, following the family or doctor's recommended diet;
Support or even help your loved one to eat, depending on their degree of mobility and involvement
Help the person drink fluids - for example, our caregivers will help them consume the recommended amount of fluids during the visit;
Arrange and clean the dining area according to the older person's preferences (throwing away leftovers from plates and used napkins, washing dishes, etc.);
Administer medicines/supplements (before, during or after meals);

What activities are not part of the service?

Our partners won't:

Our partners will prepare something easy and tasty to eat or use food already prepared or ordered by the family; they will not be able to cook very complex menus.
Partners will not make purchases (see the Purchasing and Payments service);
The partners will not do any cleaning and housekeeping activities, apart from cleaning the space where the meal has been prepared and served (see the Light Cleaning service);

02 What is the cost of the meal prep services for the elderly?

    Feeding help (1h): 40 lei
    Nazo-gastric tube feeding: 120 lei
    Our services are priced at 40 lei per hour.
    You can also book 2 hours of Meal prep and combine the services according to your preference (e.g. 1 hour shopping + 2 hours Meal prep).

03 How long does a meal prep visit last?

The length of a visit depends on you and the wishes of the older person, as long as you book at least an hour. Our partner will meet your requirements within the time limit requested by you.

04 How do I book a meal prep visit?

- Or send us details of your desired visit using the „Book Now” button in the top right corner of each page.

05 When and how do I pay for a meal prep visit?

- Pay securely and quickly directly from The Care Hub mobile app;
- Or by bank transfer to The Care Hub SRL, IBAN RO65INGB0000999908642150 (RON);
- Or online in The Care Hub account opened on the Netopia mobilPay platform;

We, The Care Hub, will hold the money until the visit takes place and will only pay the partners once you confirm that you are satisfied with the quality of service.
If you would like to offer your partner an additional payment for their effort or extra time spent on your chosen service, please contact us to issue the invoice. Payments without an invoice are illegal and we would appreciate it if you would not encourage them for the sake of the collaboration.

06 How can I change a visit?

    If you wish to change any details of a visit already booked, please write to us in advance (at least 48 hours before the start of the visit) and we will inform the partner immediately.

    If he agrees to the changes of the visit, we will confirm the details by email.

    If the partner cannot accept the changes you want, we will let you know and you can choose to work with another partner available at the time and time you want or cancel the visit. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the start of the visit are not penalised (for details, please read the Modification and Cancellation of Visits policy).
